A Sixties renovation gave the main building its modernist profile, but the spa wing is the real signature: architect Mario Botta topped it with skylit dormers that look like a fleet of sailboats moored on an Alpine lake. Interiors stay clean-lined yet warm, old fabrics reworked into ceiling-height headboards. Chef Marco Campanella runs the restaurant with playful, technically precise dishes.
