Villa Pétrusse
What the classifiers highlight
Built in 1880 for the textile merchant Henri-Eugène de Kerkhove, architecture by Pierre Kemp, gardens by Édouard André, and known as a miniature château before it stood empty for almost thirty years. MICHELIN notes that the restoration kept the worn stone stairs and the hidden passages rather than erasing them, and set twenty-two rooms, suites and a penthouse beside them, above the Pétrusse and the Adolphe Bridge.
