The Newbury Boston
What the classifiers highlight
One Newbury Street has served as a hotel since the 1920s, first under the Ritz-Carlton and Taj names, before a renovation with rooms by Alexandra Champalimaud restored it under its own name. Some rooms look straight at the Public Garden or keep wood-burning fireplaces, and Contessa, the rooftop Italian restaurant, tops off the building. MICHELIN rates it two Keys.
