The Cadogan, A Belmond Hotel, London

What the classifiers highlight

Oscar Wilde was arrested in his room here in 1895, a room now inside the Royal Suite of this Chelsea hotel, open since 1887 between Sloane Square and Belgravia. MICHELIN's Two Keys cover 54 rooms across five joined townhouses, hung with over 400 pieces of British art. Forbes notes guests alone may enter the otherwise private Cadogan Place Gardens.
