Twenty timber-lined suites on Tasmania's east coast angle toward the Hazards mountains, built from local oak and celery-top pine on land once part of a protected national park, MICHELIN says. The lodge was designed to sit lightly on that ground, proof that isolation, done well, can be its own luxury, with guided walks leading out from the rooms.
