Opened in 1929 and shuttered by the Khmer Rouge in 1975, this hotel reopened 22 years later with its colonial wood floors and ceiling fans restored. Forbes lists four Personality Suites, each themed on a famous guest such as Charles de Gaulle, around a tree-filled courtyard. The wood-paneled Elephant Bar runs happy hour from four to nine.
