What the classifiers highlight
At the foot of Mount Mifune, inside the vast Mifuneyama Rakuen garden and its surrounding forest, just 11 suites make up the whole hotel. MICHELIN added it to the Key Hotels selection in 2025. The traditional interiors are built to track the seasons outside, so the view through the window changes what the room itself feels like to sit in.
