GweGwe Beach Lodge

Hotel site

What the classifiers highlight

Nine rooms on South Africa's Wild Coast, on land returned in 2004 to the communities forced off it under colonial and apartheid rule. MICHELIN notes that a trust of seven villages owns the lodge and runs it with the conservation operator Natural Selection. Every room faces the sea and has its own plunge pool, the interiors in driftwood, sea grass and stone.
