What the classifiers highlight

A former army post at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge, its guest rooms set inside restored Victorian officers' quarters from Fort Baker, six room types in all, from snug gabled rooms to larger ones with sun porches and fireplaces. MICHELIN awards it two Keys and notes the dog-friendly lawn and a cooking school run by chef Tim Grable.
