Castiglion del Bosco, A Rosewood Hotel
What the classifiers highlight
The estate matters more than the hotel, and both guides say so. Five thousand acres of working farmland, nine hundred years old, with a medieval church and castle ruins still standing in the borgo. The Ferragamos bought it in 2003 to make Brunello. Campo del Drago holds one MICHELIN Star.
