In the Second Street District, Kelly Wearstler designed all 244 rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, Apple TVs and blue emperador marble bathrooms. McGuire Moorman Hospitality runs the food, from Mediterranean plates at The Peacock to Texas-Mexican cooking poolside at La Piscina. Austin's first LEED Gold hotel also runs Verbena Spa. Forbes rates it four stars.
